Enhancement Craft gives crafters the ability to craft deeds that allow for further customization beyond skills like imbuing and beyond the use of runic tools. This allows for extreme customization of gear including artifacts of all kinds. It even has the ability to add slayers to weapons and spellbooks.

Enhancement deeds do have their limits though. Each property effected by its a deed has its own caps, and each piece of equipment can only be enhanced so much. Each equipment item may only be enhanced 20 times. If you enhance an item beyond this, it will be destroyed. The items do not show how many times it has been enhanced, however you can use Item Identification skill on it to see how if it has been enhanced and how many times if successful.

Not all deeds work on every type of equipment. Some deeds can only be used on certain types of gear. An example of this would be Velocity and Balanced enhancement deeds. They can only be used on ranged weapons.

Eaters and Resonance enhancements also can only be used on certain equipment as well. Eaters absord the damage of the type they enhance. Resonance increases your chance to resist spell casting interruption if the damage is of the type the resonance is.

In order to use enhancement craft, you will need an Enhancement Pen, have at least 100 in Inscriptions, and you must read the Guide to Enhancement first.
